Overview

The owner needed the cash left in each store's register at end of day reconciled against QuickBooks. UPSCash lets staff submit the day's cash, connects to QuickBooks Online over Intuit OAuth, pulls the journal entries, and reconciles per store against configurable thresholds (minor $100 / major $500), emailing the owner on major discrepancies. The same check runs on weekly manager deposits.

Because it touches money and a third-party financial account, the care went into the boring-but-important parts.
